The 19th was my birthday, so I celebrated the only way I know how...no, not drinking and falling down, I played paintball and watched UFC, then I fell down. Man, my GH TOD 2008 is going friggin awesome. Just did the US Army Combat Classic in upstate NY last weekend. That was two days of killer battles. They topped 644 players, which is twice what is what last year according to SFC Dubois, who hosted myself, a pack of Misdirected Hostilities team members and Sonny Lopez and Tony Tran from Full Clip and LA Hitmen. these guys are really good ballers and it was an awesome time. The cadets were awesome, as they kept the entire event running like a well oiled machine. Makes me proud to know these are the guys will be out keeping our freedom safe from maniacs with towels on their heads!!! Thanks very much to those guys!! The Navy gets beat by Army again:-( Sorry Navy, I'll be working with these guys again!!! I just got back to Seattle from Davis Paintball in Davis California. Mil Sim Games Alpha was the game. Can you say competition paintball at its finest. Although the participation was small, the missions and the incredible field set ups at Davis Paintball were Awesome to say the least. All new park over at Davis!!! You gotta go to this field to see the transformation that has occurred! I had an incredible experience! I rescued a hostage, I won the sniper time trials, and enjoyed a new style of paintball to me and that was "small map" CQB. It was 30 on 30 in tight room clearing paintball. This was fukn scary! But, super fun too. I have never played this style before. Instant reinsertions after you tag up on your base, but if your enemy tags your base, you get no more reinsertions and the remaining players hunt you down like a dog! Mil Sim Games Alpha was a great time and I enjoyed meeting all the cool teams that showed up!!! I'll be supporting MiSim Games though MilSim Zulu!!! MilSimGames.com is the addy and the next one is at Camp Pendleton in Ca. And of course, after making video games this week in Seattle, I head off to EMR. Holy crap this is a great life. I hope my wife waits for me:-) Im really gonna miss her if she makes me choose between her and paintball. More on EMR after the heavy hittin action next week!!!!!
